Responsibility

Our garments are made with responsible fabrics including GOTS certified organic cotton, BCI cotton, linen and deadstock fabrics. Approximately 70% of our products are made with GOTS certified organic cotton/BCI cotton, 20% with linen and 10% with conventional deadstock cotton. Please see each product page for the fiber breakdown. All our products have a maximum of 5% synthetic fiber (elastane)

Our GOTS products use low impact chemicals and dyes that must be of at least 75% natural origin. Our GOTS factories are required to dispose of waste water from dying at an effluent treatment plant. The processing and use of organic fabrics are not only less harmful to the environment, but beneficial to everyone in the supply chain, from the cotton farmers to the garment-makers. 

Aside from our silk accessories, all of our products are 100% vegan. We do not use leather, wool, down or other animal products. 

On this page, you'll find a list of factories we've previously partnered with to produce our products. Each factory listing includes their associated certifications, which were valid at the time of production.

Please note: As of July 2024, we've transitioned away from these factories and are actively seeking new partners who align with our evolving sustainability and ethical sourcing standards.

We're currently in the process of vetting new factories and will update this page with information about our new partners and their certifications once we've established those relationships.

We're committed to continuous improvement and will provide updates on this page as we introduce new products.

Manufacturing facilities must adhere to a social criteria which follows guidelines set out by the International Labour Organization. ILO standards include freedom of association, rights to collective bargaining, elimination of forced, compulsory or child labour and elimination of employment discrimination. 

To maintain transparency in our supply chain, we currently partner with independent third-party certifiers to assess our factories' adherence to ethical standards. We believe in the importance of direct factory visits and aim to incorporate them into our verification process in the future.

We manufacture in very small batches to minimize waste as a result of over-production.

Our packaging is 100% recyclable or compostable and we try to always keep packaging to a minimum by not including additional materials such as cards.
