Fair Trade Production
Wildflo Studio is a one-woman brand based in Toronto.
All of our garments are designed in-house in Toronto. Our current, relaunched collection, featured exclusively on our site, is produced in small batches at a Fair Trade certified facility in Jaipur, India (WFTO Certification No. 1047) with fewer than 50 employees.
Fair Trade means:
- Workers are paid a living wage and receive their payments on time
- No forced labour
- No child labour
- Clean and safe working conditions
- Workers have freedom of association and collective bargaining
While we haven’t visited the factory in person yet, we understand how important that level of transparency is and hope to do so in the future. In the meantime, we rely on their WFTO certification as a trusted benchmark for fair trade and maintain regular communication to ensure our shared values are upheld.
We manufacture in small quantities (under 100 units per SKU) to minimize waste as a result of over production.
GOTS Organic Cotton
All garments in our current line are made with 100% GOTS certified cotton and are free from synthetics.
Our fabrics have been dyed with the use of low-impact reactive, AZO free pigments.
Our dyes and finishes comply with the GOTS standard, which bans harmful chemicals and ensures safe wastewater treatment. All waste water from fabric dying and wet processing is recycled through a water filtration system.
They’re shipped to us without any single-use plastics, and sent to you in completely plastic-free packaging.
All of our garments are vegan friendly and do not contain any animal products.
